Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: Pioneer AVH-P4400BH 2-DIN Multimedia DVD Receiver with 7" Widescreen Touch Panel Display, Built-In Bluetooth, and HD Radio™ Tuner

Get that in and installed yet? I'm getting the same one soon and wondered how it went and how you liked it...

I am pretty happy with my classic premium Alpine.

You can get one, even now for $100 used deck + $100 for new faceplate.

:fishing:

Pretty much what I have had in every main vehicle since 2002. I think I have re-installed it 9 times? 2002 Retail = $899. Paid $499. Still worth $200-300 used, and it's mint.

I truly do not believe money will buy you any better unit for JUST PLAYING MUSIC then old Alpines. Too many bells and whistles on the new units, and my bluetooth headset works just fine thanks, don't even feel it on your ear.

Hmmm, I thought Crutchfield had installation kits and detailed instructions.

Old thread but the best thing about Crutchfield is their vehicle specific harnesses. If you so choose, you can pay the extra 24.99 and have all of the splicing done for you so that your new HU is plug and play into the factory harness.

They don’t supply you with vehicle specific instructions for the install or pictures or anything. YouTube is the best thing for that anyway.

I just bought one of those single DIN Pioneer units without a CD drive from crutchfield. Bluetooth and Sirius radio. Cheap and super light. Fits like stock w that extra storage sleeve underneath. Crutchfield is still a good place for buying audio equipment

Thanks for the reply. I just spent some time on the Crutchfield website. Double Din looks good. Does the 3rd Gen have steering wheel audio controls?
