Replacing door lock actuator

Any body know of an easy to follow instructions to replace the front passenger door lock actuator on a 99? I can't find anything that clearly describes how to do it. I've seen the link to the yotatech forum thread but it is so broad it is worthless to me. Anybody have an easy way to do it?

I too would like to know this. In hot weather, my driver side door won't lock via the fob. I have to manually lock it by pushing down the rod from the inside. It doesn't look terribly easy to get to.

Often there is a piece of plastic on the end of the bent rod that breaks in half.

Remove the door panel and you'll see it broken.

Tape it up temporarily and then go out and buy a new one.
