Replacing Shocks on 2015 SR5 4Runner

Hello group,

It has been a while since I've been here, and I'm hoping for some help improving the ride of our 2015 SR5 Premium 4Runner.
I am looking for compression / rebound numbers for the OEM replacements, so I never have the bobbing and weaving ride handling that has plagued me since it was new. I'm looking at TRD, KYB, or any recommendations you all might have for a firmer streetable ride. Probably not heading to the desert or mountains much... Thanks for any assistance.

Good luck finding technical specs on OEM or most aftermarket shocks.

I would highly recommend bilstein 5100s for stiffening up your on the road ride. You can run these with your existing springs front and back and it gives you the option to lift if you're also looking to do that now or down the road.

I ran a set for 40k miles with zero issues and only took them off for more a more adjustable setup.

I agree with [MENTION=275184]El Dusty[/MENTION]

I added Bilstein 5100 front and rear. Front set to 0.85. Gave a little lift, looks more level. They helped the nose dive a lot and feel firmer but not harsh.

The rear helped the overall ride and helped a lot for off road trails.
If you don't want to get more level look, 4800s may be just as good.

I agree with this option , always opt for better.
