Replacing starter contacts and need help pls

Im in the process of doing the starter contacts on my 4R and I'm beating my head trying to get the smaller plastic clip connector off. I got the one with the cover and bolt underneath but I'm afraid of breaking the plastic one so don't want to just yank on it. It appears to be on there pretty good. Any suggestions?

If I remember correctly, there is a clip on the connector that you have to depress. If you are working from under the truck, it is on the backside. Slip a small screwdriver back there to give yourself some leverage, I think it is in the middle of the connector. Don't just pull the wires!!

Finally got it! It was in there pretty good. Thank goodness for my small hands, the starter location is a PITA!
