Reverse Light Mod – SR5 Factory bumper & Rigid SR-Q

OK Barry, I just could not take a jig saw to my bumper, but I did find a solution. I installed Rigid 98000 SR-M Diffused on some home made mounting plates under the rear bumper. then added the factory style switch in dash. I know what your thinking about departure clearance. I figure any obstruction going forward will hit the spare tire first. Backing up will be an issue, but isn't that why we installed aux lights to begin with?. All my Lights are fed from a 10 circuit bussman fused rely panel . The panel is fed from a 2nd battery system to avoid having contact with any OEM circuitry.

Saker, didn't see your mod till now and really didn't try to copy it but it was the logical solution to the problem without cutting into the bumper. Nice job by the way.

Just kidding, cutting isn't for everyone. As far as departure clearance, living in the northeast anything hanging below bumpers have a tendency of being ripped off when coming in contact with snowbanks.
