Reverse Lights

i just remembered i did have one that came in a little electricians kit i got. i put the truck in reverse and put one of the sides of the tester on the bolt that holds the latch in place for the rear hatch and stuck the other one in each of the holes for my hitch lights, and none worked. it says what they do on it, and they are Ground, Tail, L Stop and R Stop.... no reverse...

i'm confused....there has to be a reverse....

negative, never seen a regular trailer with reverse lights...
what about running some type of inline fuse, instead of having to go into the fuse box?
