Revo's compared to Michelin Cross Terrain's

Anyone have experience with both these tires? I'm talkin on dry roads, snow, rain and tread wear comparison. No off road beyond gravel roads.

I've got cross terrains and drive similar to you, and I have had absolutely no problem with them that I have noticed. I don't know however how much of this has been because of the 4R itself and how much becuase of the tire, but I have driven in lots of rain, snow, and ice, and some on gravel, dirt, mud, over trees and through brush and have never slipped or gotten stuck. I've also got 73K on the tires right now and they still are a long ways from the depth marker. The only reason that I would switch is if I were to get into more mud, but so far I haven't been able to. With my milage tendancy I really have to pay attention to length of life before off road benefits. How many miles are the Revo's lasting?

It'll be 74 by the end of the week if that makes a difference.

Oh, tires are rotated every 7500 per my toyota's lifetime tire plan. I think that they stuck Michelins on there because they knew that most people would never last that long. JMHO.

I had X ter. on a MB ML430, that I got rid of last year; they were good tires in the snow, but would spin sometimes going up my steep drive. I have Revo's on my V8 4Runner, and they are vastly superior ( or the truck is, or both), they have yet to spin once in the snow on my drive.

For your driving, i would stick with Michelin Crossterrains. They last a long time from what i hear and provide a smooth ride on-road. I doubt that REVOs can match the CTs on these characteristics.

Those are the tires I wanted but they don't come in a 265/65/17 yet. You would have to step up in size and that may effect some of you criteria.
