I really like my revo's, they handle great in wet weather onroad and they have good traction offroad.

I asked a friend of mine who works at a B-stone/F-stone dealer the same question the other day as I was getting some B-stone tires for the wifes car and he said.
"I sell the F-stones to people who do more on road driving and the B-stone Revo's to people who do more of both on and off road driving" He also said you need to rotate the Revo's more often.

With only 2500 miles on them so far, I really like my Destination A/T's. I was looking at an even bigger price jump from the Firestones to the Revos, as I traded my Dunlops in locally. I read through all the ratings on Tirerack and found the Firestones to be very highly rated and some users found them to be very similar to the Revos. I had originally planned on getting the Bridgestones, but I couldnt justify the difference in price.

Do yourself a favor and look into the Cooper Discoverer ATR.
They are a much better tire than the Revo in my opinion. Me and my friend did a head to head test (he has Revos) in the snow last winter and the Discoverer ATR were much better in the slippery stuff. And they are less expensive too!

Does anyone run the Yokohama Geolander H/T-S GEO51s on a 4Runner?
I am about to put the second set on a Suburban (first set went a bit over 50K miles). They are really good tires and nicely priced at $97 each.
I have been happy with the Yoko Geos. I drive mostly on the road with only a modest amount of snow each year, so I had been planning on getting the Revos, but the Yokos may not be a bad choice.

One of the best things I have noticed about Cooper tires is the deep tred depth. For ex the Cooper ATR in size 265/70/17 has a tred deph of 14/32nds compared to the B-stone Revo 13/32nds when new. It's even more drastic in some other sizes with leeser tires have a tred deph of only like 11/32nds when the Cooper is 14/32nds of tred depth.
Im thinking about the ATR as my next tire .......... I was wondering though are they quiet on the road???

Yes, they are quiet. You can hear them more than the Dunlops, but only barely so. With my windows down, I can just make out a very slight hum at about 40 mph. Slower than that, and they are virtually silent. Speeds above that, and the wind noise makes it impossible to hear any noise the tires are making. With the windows up, they are as quiet as the Dunlops.
Another thing I love about the Discoverers is the tread WIDTH. They measure a bit more than 9\" across the actual tread contact surface. This is about a full inch wider than the Revos (by the way, the 265/65 Revo is wider than the 265/70 Revo). When it comes to the heavier load rated Revo, they only come in 265/70, and they are wider than the same size Revo in the lighter load rating. This may seem strange, but the heavier load rated Revo (265/70) is the same width as the standard rated Revo in the 265/65 size. Either way, the Discoverer ATR is fatter than any of the 265 Revos. The fatter tires give my 4Runner a nice stance that reminds me of the older Land Cruiser stance. I looks great!

I've read that the Coopers tend to feel a bit mushy on the steering, perhaps sue to the deep tread... have you noticed any difference in how the truck tracks and how responsive the steering is?
I know the Dunlops are not the greatest, just wondering if the Coopers are any better.

Nobody had the Desitination's.....nobody had the Yokohama AT's.....nobody had the Coopers....nobody had.....anything. I live in a MAJOR metro area and was disappointed in the stock. I was finally able to find the Revo's at one of the Tires Plus. He agreed to match the Firestone price and beat it at 179.99. I was out the door at right about 800, minus the AM debit card for 75, I thought it was a decent deal.
The ride home proved to be a huge improvement in looks and performance from the Dunlops.

You'll be much happier with them over the stock tires , a huge improvement.
IMO the Revo is a good tire , it lacks in some areas and performs great in others. I'm a BFG fan , but wouldn't mind trying a different tire , but usually when you buy a set your kind of stuck , except with the places that offer a trial time. Don't know what I'll try next.

What do you guys think of the Revo's in the snow? I live in Colorado and will need a A/T tire that is good in the snow.
Has anyone got a trade allowance with the stock Dunlops? I've heard of a few people doing that. I should be getting my 4runner in the next couple of days and I don't know why everyone dislikes the stock Dunlops, but if they are as bad as people say they are, I might upgrade tires right off the bat.
