My guess is; REVOs are probably one of the best selling tires for Bridgestone and by putting the snowflake on the REVOs may take sales away from their dedicated winter tires.

I just got home from the Psych. hospital ( i work there ) it's 12:30 am and I see you guys are still at it ...........lol

Maybe we should get Mach5 Speed Racer tires where they are good for street racing and at the push of a button an off road tread comes out . Speed Racer would be proud.

I have decided to put sheet metal screws in my tires for the winter aprox 300 per tire and then take them out every spring.

Packed snow if tough , I don't care what tire your driving. That stuff can be nasty.

If it's done on packed snow, then this may explain why there are some/few circumstances where this symbol may not live up to expectations...this is the limitation to all test/studies done. However, a tire that can pass this standard is a good tire for all season and winter driving in my book.
