Hi there, first order of business is to let us know how you plan to use your Runner and what you are trying to accomplish...Several options await you :D

mostly street use but i want to fit 33 x 12.50 im sure after i lift i will go off road more. it is my daily driver so i cant go ridiculous. my truck "98 limited" has 72k on it and totally stock i have 4.56 gears so im not sure if ill have to re gear if the truck gets really slow with the 33s i may do super charger rather than re gear

thanks mike

Ok, now lets move on...Unfortunately, you will not be able to run those tires as you have 16" wheels...Now there are a few sets of 15" wheels that will fit your calipers, however, no too many.

Most people with lifted 3rd Gens will run a 285/75/16 tire, you will need approx 2.25" of lift to accomplish that.

Those gears should be alright, I had the 4.10's if I remember correctly and I switched them out to 4.88's

Believe it or not, I tried to SC before regearing...it did ABSOLUTELY nothing but aggravate me and waste gas ;): But like I said, you should be alright with those gears.

Also, the RevTek kit tells you it requires a wheel with atleast 4.25 backspacing to use the 285/75/R16 tires...I tested the RevTek kit and had rubbing on the inner pinch weld.

Hope that sort of helps, I am more than happy to answer questions and sometime it is easier to shoot me a call or send me an e mail and ask me to call you :D

Best of luck!

Mike

I changed my coils and shocks to OME 881 Front / 891 Rear. Also changed struts/shocks to OME. I love the ride. I sit taller aprroximately 2". Next mod will be 265/76/R16. MAX tire size without rubbing.
