I have had the '01 for about 5 years and just bought the '96. Both stock 16" rims. I noticed the '96 sits higher by about 1-1/2" measuring from the hub to the fender skirt. Anyone know why? Both have about the same mileage 158K.

stickies?
20" is the 'normal' measurement that all lifts are calculated from. Stock, the 01/02's are pretty low (more like 19" or less). Just getting back to 20" hub to fender will make the suspension much more comfortable by keeping it off the bump stops in day-to-day driving. What's your measurement? My 98's and my 99 were all 20 to 20.5" hub center to fender. That's on 20 year old suspension. No idea what they were new.
