2011 Limited 4Runner - Black/Black - NAV - 3rd row

I'm only a few weeks into owning this thing and am absolutely obsessed with it. This is my build thread to document all the mods on the "Zombie Crusher". I jokingly called it that one night and it stuck. The wife gives me **** about it all the time.

My wife and I bought the truck fully stock with 9 miles and have managed to put on 1400 miles in about 4 weeks. I'm nuts about this thing. It also doesn't help to have an awesome forum like T4R inspire me to mod the hell out of it. I've never been one to leave any of my toys alone.

Here are the mods i've done in order from when I first picked up the truck.

v.1 - 1/2/2012-2/11/2012
Kragen rubber antenna- The stock one annoyed the hell out of me and I had to get rid of that thing. Wasn't too into the super shorty stubs either.
Wade In-channel window visors- These make a little bit of wind noise on the freeway but not enough to be annoying.
aFe CAI- I love this thing! It's quiet and mundane enough for normal driving but when you need to get on it, IT'S ON! I highly recommend it.
Husky Liners- Front, rear and trunk. Will save your floors from the crap that's outside.
Husky mud guards- Front and Rear. They fit perfect and look awesome.
nFab Wheel to Wheel nerf bar- These are made for the TE but with the help of T4R members I fab'd up some spacers to get them to clear the rocker panels on the LE's and SR5's. I am now putting together some spacer kits for other members with SR5's and LE's. Contact me for a set.
AVS Aeroskin hood protector- I love how stealth looking and functional this piece is.
XD Addict 20"x9" -12 wheels | Nitto Terra Grappler 275/55-20- These changed the entire look of the truck and is definitely my favorite mod yet. The stance looks perfect IMO. The truck drives so much better with this setup without any road noise from the Terra's. Yes it did rub a little but I just took a heat gun and remolded the fender wells in a couple spots. No rubbing at all.

I've got a ton more planned for this truck. I'm currently working on a FXR Bi-Xenon projector setup into some trail headlights. These should be done in a couple weeks. I will be starting a GB for a plug and play Projector setup for all 5th gens once my set is done.

I am a noob at offroading but do want to get into it. I want to check out some of the easier trails in the bay area soon.

Antman- I'll definitely hit you up. The zombie apocalypse is upon us. hah. I like the antenna. I bought it initially as a temporary fix until i ordered one online but it grew on me. I remember seeing these antennas on 1st and 2nd gens as a kid and it kinda pays homage to the OG T4R's. It definitely grew on me.

adio3x- Thanks man, I've been staring at your pics for a while and that SW bumper is haunting me. I'm most likely going to place an order soon. Your truck is sick!

Foques, 2011T4RLE- The AVS Aeroskin is only listed for a 2010. They do not list it for 2011-2012. I think it's some kind of glitch on their part. I got it from AA. Just put in model year 2010 and it will pop right up.

Question : did you do a lift before putting on the new shoes?! I like those a lot, wonder how that would look on my pearl Limited. Any rubbing?

Thank you sir! The truck is not lifted at all. There was some rubbing in the front but only when clocking the wheel. I fixed that by remolding the inner fender wells in 2 spots on each side with a heat gun. It was a pretty easy fix. I'm confident 33's can fit with some trimming, remolding and alignment work with no lift.

I have 33's (well close enough) on mine and I thought the same thing. You'll lose those pretty mud guards as soon as you turn the wheel. 33's are a decent squeeze on a mildy lifted 4Runner. I couldnt imagine putting some on one that is not lifted.
