^Thanks man! NO real updates on the truck. Still loving every minute of this thing though. The gas sucks but I guess that's the price we have to pay for having a truck like this.
Here's a shot I took before a Carbine/Pistol class down at the metcalf range.
I live in South San Jose and have seen your truck twice at Metcalf while out cycling! Sweet rig!

that stuff is ebay Plastic ABS Universal Black Sport Mesh Grill Grille Car Stock OE Style 9"x42" E | eBay I used it too for my 3rd gen. It's bad ass!

You will get your money's worth and learn how to manipulate whichever weapon system you bring out. I wish ammo was a bit cheaper but it is what it is.

Question about the Neilsen training... I took a carbine / pistol class with Kyle Defoor of Alias Training but we went out to Az. for it to avoid the CA laws regarding hi-cap mags, and bullet buttons on the carbines. How did you guys get around this here in Cali?

[MENTION=58658]deekoi[/MENTION]- Thanks! I actually just used some zip ties to secure it to the stock grill surround after gutting it. You can't see the zip ties unless you look for them. It's been secure for the past few thousand miles with no rattles or issues at all.

[MENTION=80238]PhoRunner[/MENTION]: I took it to Toy Connection in SJ/SC. They did a pretty good job with it. I actually have to take it back in to get trimmed a bit more. It's still rubbing in some places when the suspension is fully flexed.

I will have some new pics. My wife and I are currently in the middle of a 2300 mile trip around the midwest. We did a bit of wheeling out near Crater Lake last weekend. I will update the thread once I get back. So far we are 1600 miles into our road trip and the truck is perfect. I couldn't imagine driving anything else.
