4Shore- The secret is waiting 3.5 months.The wait sucks but it's definitely worth it.

So the ShrockWorks group buy bumpers are already being delivered, huh? I'm happy for all who took advantage of the group buy, really I am. But I feel cheated; I placed my bumper order a full week before the group buy was set up and told Shrockworks I'd be pretty pi$$ed if my bumper didn't ship out before the group buy bumpers, seeing as how I paid full tilt.
Well, my bumper arrived yesterday, no earlier than any of the group buy bumpers .. I'm happy it's here but I'm still pi$$ed about how ShrockWorks handled my order. Frankly, ShrockWorks products are great but any 5-year-old kid with a lemonade stand has better business skills than they do.
On a more positive note, that's a beautiful bumper, RiDE!

You think that's bad? I placed my skid plate order with the group buy - half of them have already recieved theirs and to add insult to injury I happen to know of someone who placed their order 2 weeks ago and was told they were in stock and ready to ship and ALREADY RECEIVED THERES!!! Yea that definitely sucks! I'm pretty sure Shrockworks is aware of all of these things but they're at the point of being almost untouchable. Which sucks. They're products are so good people will wait for it. It sucks, I don't agree with their business practices but their products are at the top of the industry.
Mikey- I will get in touch with them and see what they can stir up for us 5th gens.

Just picked up my switches from OTRATTW. Jim is a pleasure to work with. Such a laid back, cool and very knowledgable guy. Excited to see his business growing and booming. I got to see his laser etching machine and actually have a short clip of him making some switches. It's awesome to see a small business be so successful while functioning out of a home garage. It's amazing. I went with these 4 switches and the Blue Seas fuse block. Hopefully I can get everything wired up in the next week or so. Excited to see how bright these Rigid's are.

That is awesome... gotta clean up my drool. What made you opt for the center hoop only? Did you consider if the headlight guard would have blocked the wide beam of the projectors?

Such a short time your runner has went from that picture of the car after you picked it up in the parking lot to what you posted here.
I applaud your other half for putting up with how much you have put into your truck and the fact that you have shared it with us all, wicked machine, well done.

Speedy Babo- I went with the center hoop just based on looks. I felt the headlight hoops "blocked" too much of the body of the truck. I really like the look of the 5th gen headlight/fender/hood area up front and didn't want to block it. Plus I didn't want to hide my trail/projector retrofitted headlights.

Bay33saw- Like i said early on, since my first time off roading I got hooked to the sport. I can't get enough of it. I decided after the first time I went out I would change the look of the truck to make it more off road friendly. My other half is extremely supportive. I love her to death. Definitely hit me up if you're ever out this way.
Here's a side pic of the truck. Just waiting on some spanner wrenches to arrive so I can level out the front end. It definitely needs to go up a bit since the bumper was installed. I'm also waiting on my full skids to arrive from Shrockworks which will add even more weight.
