azn-sensation- It was a regular 2009 848. Your bikes sound awesome. Here's a older pic of my monster. The Termi is no longer on the bike though. And a pic of the 848 I sold last year.

That 848 is hot. My last sport bike was the Honda 954RR, fast and very nimble. Sold it for the Honda VTX 1800 then sold that when the son came along. I ALMOST picked up the Harley Davidson Night rod special edition, but decided against it. LOVE the Ducati though!!!!

That 848 was a beast. The sound and the feel of that bike was unbelievable. I miss the bike every now and then. Letting it go was just the right thing to do at the time.

To much on the plate with not enough hrs in the day means it'll never get ridden. I'd LOVE to get the Harley, even the wife loved it, I just can't justify dumping the cash for it to sit in the garage.

I have been following your thread since you started and I never thought I ever see your ride in person, until today. I spotted you driving though Stockton off of Eight Mile Rd. Your ride is wicked awesome! Great job and keep up the great work.

Thanks man! I was in the area for a little family get together and also coming back from a weekend in Reno.


side note- I picked up my skids from powder coating today and will begin the install tonight. My goal is to at least get the engine skid done. I think I'm gonna do 1 skid a night. I also have to get my trailing arms bolted up.

Jaker you're going to love that suspension. I have no regrets at all.

I installed my Shrockworks engine skid, transmission skid and t-case skid last night. Everything lined up perfectly and the install was very simple. I used a floor jack to support the skids while I bolted it all up. I started with the engine skid first and worked my way down. Gas tank skid should be installed in the next few days. I will also get some pics to post up.

I think it was recommended (by harper?) to put skids on starting from the rear? I think it's to help prevent things from "catching" onto the edges where the skids meet, not sure if he was talking about the same skids you have, actually I think he has Buds, so it might not even apply to your SW skids

I worked from the front to back and everything fit fine. I didn't have to take anything off to start over. Everything fit perfectly.

I'm trying to go wheelin' this Friday so hopefully I can get this to do list done.

1. Raise up front end
2. Install gas tank skid
3. Install Icon rear trailing arms

I also have to get my OTRATTW switches installed and wired up.

Are the current tire NTG 275/55/20? They look bigger.

No. Current tires are Goodyear Duratrac 295/65-18's.
