You inspired me to purchase an Icon Stage 5 kit without rear trailing arms (yet) from Dirty Parts.

Just placed my order a few minutes ago.

Jaker you're going to love that suspension. I have no regrets at all.

:dammit: I couldn't resist and went ahead and ordered the rear upper and lower trailing arms with the adjustable pan-rod bar today. The rest of the suspension setup arrived yesterday and after taking a look at them, they're just too awesome.

Congrats on the suspension Jaker. I just installed my rear trailing arms last night. These things are awesome! The install only took about 45 minutes. Definitely one of the easier installs. I think the last piece of my suspension will be the Icon adjustable pan-rod bar. I'll have to wait a few months for that one.

I am also looking into options for strengthening the lower link mounts since those are pretty weak. I'm going to have a local shop box them in for me.

What kind of gas mileage are you getting now as compared to before you lifted?

I'm getting about 12 city and 15 highway. Keep in mind I have an extra ~550 lbs of steel between the Shrockworks front bumper, full skids, Budbuilt sliders and Gobi Stealth rack. My tires are also 33's so that doesn't help with the gearing or MPG at all.

A lift by itself with no other changes to the truck isn't really going to affect your mileage. However, most people with a lift are adding other things for the purpose of offroading (i.e. skids, wheels, bigger tires, etc.)

Wow! I have a 2010 Tundra that's getting 15mpg with 305's. I would have thought you got more than 12/15. I am considering selling my Tundra for a 5th gen. 4R. Not sure what to do. Maybe just mod the Tundra? Any thoughts?

The Crusher has been nothing but awesome! I don't think I've done much this summer besides drive it everywhere. I did install my Shrockworks full skids and wire up my Rigid SR40 on top of the Gobi a few months back. I also just finished up my 10k service. I'll get some new pics up soon. I did raise the front end a bit more to level it off. All the extra steel up front weighed it down a good amount.

Here are some pics from a few months back of my Gobi Rack and 4R fully stacked. I don't think i've seen any rack this full on a 5th gen. This is the gear of 6 adults, 1 dog and enough gear for 5 days of camping. We drove a total of 320 miles with it like this and nothing up there ever moved. The truck and rack handled everything perfectly.

HAHA! That's awesome! Gas mileage was right around 11mpg with all the gear and with 6 adults inside. Can't rememeber the name of the site anymore but it was up North.

I'm trying to setup a rural camping trip right before the season ends. Hopefully I can get it in before it gets really cold out.
