Joneseyyy- I've been looking at that pic for a bit of time now. I like the full length for that reason. The sr40 will fit perfectly under there. Did you customize yours to have mesh flooring instead of the bars? Also, do you the have height measurement from the roof to the highest point on the rack? Is it taller then a Gobi stealth? How's the wind noise?

Mike- I've also seen that setup which is what inspired me to get the SR40. If I can get Baja to extend the Utility rack a few inches I can achieve the same look.

Gotcha. The clearance between the rack and the roof is so tight you'd be hard-pressed to get a 12 AWG between the roof and the rack. I've seen some Jeeps with the SR-40s mounted right at the top of their windshield and it looks pretty good. Like this:

You could probably fabricate something that would drop the light down from whichever rack you go with rather than post it up like on the jeep mount.

BajaRack did the mesh flooring for me for a $100 upcharge. Makes it easier to stand on and gives many more options for tying stuff down, well worth it for my use.

I don't know the floor-top of rack height, but it is about 3-4'' higher than the OEM rack, which is probably similar to the front of the gobi rack. Wind noise is evident, but hardly noticeable with the sunroof and sunshade closed. Otherwise you do hear noise.

Thanks for the info Jonesey. After a bunch of reading and comparing all the photos I can find, I think I'm going to go with the Gobi Stealth. I've always loved the look of it and can now buy direct from Gobi. I'm going to be placing my order here in the next couple of days. If anyone is looking for anything Gobi, please send me a PM. I will beat anyone's price for anything Gobi offers.

Funny you ask...Here's a 40SR under my Gobi. Tell Sandy you're mounting it underneath. Otherwise, there are no light tabs there.

Icon Stage 5 Installed

I've driven the truck for about 300 miles since installing the Icon setup and love everything about the ride. Cornering feels much more stable at higher speeds. The rear end no longer "sways" when taking turns a bit faster then normal. The truck also feels much better when off of pavement. It seams to soak up a lot of the bumps when offroad. Sideways figure 8's in the mud feel solid with the Icon setup. I cannot wait to get this thing on some trails.

Here are some "high res" pics I took today with the new Icon setup installed. It rained a good amount last night and was lucky to find a nice little mud field around work to play in. Excuse the ridiculous amounts of post processing. I was just messing around with the wife's Photo program's.

My 18's also showed up today so I should have those mounted up in the next week or so.

Already on it Mike. I ordered some Shrockworks but those won't be in for a few months. I also read that Bud had some bump outs ready to ship. I've left him 2 messages and no return call. I really want the bud bump out's but it seams impossible to purchase them.

So you are saying these icon shocks are better than the stock XREAS suspension? in regards to on road ride quality and handling?

Yes and yes. There is a night and day difference between the xreas and the ICON setup. The ICON setup is at least 10x better then the stock xreas system.

Regarding your sliders, have you decided what you were going to do with the rocker covers? I'm apposed to the idea of trimming them, looks cheesy.
