Hey ric or any one,
What is that brown green leak on the front right, inside the lower control arm?
im geting that same leak, how do you fix it?

Thank you!
You will have to weld it on. If you just bolt it, your back end will be all over the place on the highway.

Is that how Toytec recommends the install? I just ordered mine (finally)...so I gotta have it welded in place? They should mention that on the website...

that leak was actually coming from my master cylinder. It was leaking brake fluid for a while. Got it fixed now though. So i believe that the fluid you are talking about just leaked down from the master cylinder. Have you been running low on brake fluid?

yeah, if you dont weld it on, it will be all over the place. You can still drive it, but it gets really squirlly when you hit bumps at high speeds and the rear axle is shifting around. DEFINITELY weld it.

eek...okay so looks like I gotta line up a welder friend...

should I try to extend it like yours?

hahaha! I'm still confused... The drivers side has brake fluid on it, the passenger side as a boat load of grease from the cv.

I would... You want to make the panhard bar as close to horizontal as possible. With the ammount of lift that you and i are running i dont think its possible without extending it. You should do the cross brace as well because the first time i had it welded on without that and the weld broke.

good to know...thanks!

yeah the boat load of grease from the cv. does that mean the cv is broken and needs to be repaired? did you fix the problem? if so what did you do & how much did it cost?

Yeah i just went to home depot and bought some $2 hose clamps to put around the cvs. You should check to make sure your cv boot is not torn though. Because if it is then you will need to replace that.
