Right Rear drags when Outside Temp is Hot

Hello everyone.

I am thinking my steering wheel issue may actually be wheel dragging issue. It seems as thought the symptoms occur during hot temperatures. Or prolonged driving. The only kicker though is that there is basically no heat if any on the wheel itself I was wondering what I should look at next. The axle seal does have a tiny leak in it and last week I cleaned out the differential breather.

What do you mean the right rear drags? Is the truck just pulling to the right and you don't know why, or have you actually jacked up the rear of the truck and verified that wheel spins slower than the left?

If the truck is pulling, start with your alignment. If you have verified resistance when you spin the right rear wheel, it's going to be probably in the brake drum, maybe the wheel bearing.

It does push a little to the right, however I just had the upper control arm bushings installed with an alignment about a month or so ago. Also within the last six months I have had the pitman arm, idler arm, upper and lower ball joints, inner tie rod ends, front shocks, rear shocks, and rear coils replaced. With all that realigned a couple times and wheels rebalanced.

I hope to soon be able to jack up the car and maybe run the wheels and feel if they dragging soon just haven't had the time for that test yet. I have just noticed a feeling of dragging when it gets hot outside or after several miles driving.
