Is my math off somewhere? Where is the extra $200? Almost everything quoted is at retail. The benefit IS the FREE duallys.

That would be correct. Either way, it's $200 off of retail.

They have multiple diameter clamp type systems ranging from 3/4"-2" bars.

Either one you go with, I can probably do a buy 5 get one free. The specters are $279 and flood/spot are $219. The specters would be better for the simple fact that they are brighter. Although, I don't think any of the patterns would be good for any oncoming traffic.

We have a sizable mining operation in Ohio. I've been buying HID work lights for equipment that seem to not have much of a lifespan. Do Rigid lights have a 24v option? I wasn't able to find anything about that on their site.

The new SR's do ,doesn't say on the E-series.
These would make great work lights as they are practically indestructible with a 50,000 hour work life.

Some of you may be wondering, "why can't we just get the lights we want without the free stuff?"
Rigid Industries protects their resellers with MAP pricing. What this means is, you CAN NOT advertise below this set pricing. Doing so will remove you from their distributor list. Some people push the limits with $185 on ebay with map pricing at $189.99 on a retail unit for $199.99. They have not been caught yet.
So, the way around this is to produce a "package" for multiple lights OR give away something with a purchase. Rigid can not prevent you from giving away something.

I am fairly certain I will be getting 4 6" bars for my gobi. I just need someone to tell me if I want to go the E series or SR route.... I read the little descriptions on their website, and can't really tell a difference beyond 1 row of LEDs on SR and 2 rows of LEDs on the E's. The power draw is 10 watts higher on the SR and they are brighter? As there are no retailers in my area I don't have anyone to talk to about it....

It has been brought to my attention that there are some questions between the E series and SR series of lights. Here is a brief, but accurate explanation.

The technology in the SR series is identical to the E series. The leds are the same, as are the optics, heat sink, circuit board, etc. The main differences are obviously cost and size. Some people may find it easier to mount a SR series in tighter spaces.
One of the best ways to think about it is pennies per lumen. For example just using round numbers here, a 50" E series puts out 10,000 lumen. While a 50" SR will put out 7,000 lumen. So let's say the cost of a 50" E is $1000, while a 50" SR is $700. Again, these are rounded numbers. I am NOT offering these lights at these prices! But merely showing the dollar value of light.

I, personally, am going with 40" SR simply because I want it to fit "under" the Gobi rack. It also leaves me some money left to do 2 6" SR's for back up.

Best I can do on the Duallys by themselves is $190 + shipping. They are going for about that on ebay so it's not really a great deal.
