Rigid LEDs?

Any of you fellow 3rd Gen'rs running Rigid LEDs? I really like the concept of using these for some extra light front and back but DAYUM they are expensive!!! :jaw drop:

If you've got pics and prices I would appreciate the info. Some of the 5th Gen guys are running them and they look pretty sweet!:thumb3:

Your better off going HID's. LED's are crazy expensive and don't give out nearly the same amount of light as even a cheap HID.

If I may, I respectfully disagree. I have a couple friends who run these (one has a 40" bar across the top of his jeep jk's windshield, the other has a few smaller bars on a ford raptor. They definitely put out just as much, if not more light than my IPF 900xs with 55w HID setup. Could be the beam pattern, sure, but man do these things rock. Even if its similar or less in output, you are getting great performance with less power draw. One of the huge plus's for me is the fact that they don't need to heat up like my HID's

edit::I have a couple of these waiting for me to get custom mounting brackets made up for my rig. If that ever happens, I will get some pics posted up

Here is a picture from 5th gen thread about the Rigid LED lights.
Pretty damn impressive out of something that small. I personally think LED technology will blow HID out of the water in the next few years. Some manufacturers already have LED Headlights.

Agreed, LED technology has come a long way recently and I would have no hesitation going this route if the cost would come down.

Very soon here, I will be attempting to but one of those single row (from the output pic. The light pictured is a dualy, still a great little light) lights, 10" long in my factory hood scoop. Thats how small they are!!!

edit::that group buy is being hosted through a vendor who's shop is right down the street. If anyone has any questions for him, let me know and Ill go down there and give him our .02

Here is my Rigid Industries Dually LED's being installed by my brothers. I use them as back up lights; I don't have any night shots yet. Got it from 4WheelParts for $180 a pair. Hope this helps!
