Rigid LEDs

have any daytime shots of it with out the light on? I'm assuming it's fairly noticeable still?

Here's a video I put together. The camera I used is great for day stuff, but not so much night stuff. It's highly underexposed, and doesn't capture the distance/throw of the lights very well at all. But, given that the stock headlights are underexposed as well you can still see the extreme difference.

Still need to install mine. I went with 4 x 6" for my Gobi to replace the cheap POS PIAA. I talked to Rigid directly (but ordered from Bobby) who agreed to custom make a SR Specter Wide so I'm doing WIDE - DRIVE - DRIVE - WIDE all controled by one switch.

Are either the bars or the smaller fogs from Rigid aim-able? I want to be able to use these on the highway when it's blizzarding but I don't want to be blinding everyone else on the road.

Depending on how you mount them, they pivot up and down.
 
May be different elsewhere but around here using them on roads are illegal. They are even suppose to have covers on them. Another thing, in a blizzard too bright of a light drives me nutty.

Should have the orange / amber lights for that. I need to come up with a better setup. This morning was annoying. (stock lights, lifted, not adjusted)
 
behind the grill

I am thinking about doing the same thing with a light bar in the lower grill. I am trying to decide between putting it behind the grill or cutting the grill. How much do you think the grill blocked the light? I like how clean it looks with the light behind the grill but was just concerned about it impacting the light output.

I'm in the same boat but I'm thinking that as bright as these are, any blockage created by the grill won't have a very adverse effect on the brightness.

Saw another thread on here earlier this weekend where someone had posted pics of the same with the grill intact, then with it cut, and it definitely made a much larger difference than I would have thought. May want to do a search for it as it was "en-light-ening"! Sorry, couldn't resist...:bolt:
