originally my plan was to completely sand down my rims get rid of some rust and spray them flat black or graphite. now i think the stock chrome look, looks best, my car being black. i just cant seem to find any color to spray onto my rims that would make my car look better than the stock chrome color.
so can i use a wire brush to go over the rims, then sand them down, then use paint thinner to clean off the excess coating and just use clear coat over all that and leave that be?
would that basically clean up my rims to make them all shinny and have a brand new clear coat to protect them?
