Haha mine does, but I don't have time to get involved enough for that stuff lol. I spend more time studying than most unfortunately so I can only get so involved before I'm overwhelmed. The only reason I am still here is because I am a stubborn SOB lol

Good to see you are back! Your truck was pretty much my inspiration for everything I have done to my 4Runner. I am happily surprised to see a person in a situation very similar to mine to come back to a T4R. I had been considering selling mine for quite some time, but have given up on that.

I am a senior Mechanical Engineering student, and I am going on to my 5th (super senior!) and final year. SAE Baja has been my distraction from school the past few years, but I am contemplating on switching to the formula team for my final year. I have had my fun with it, but now with my offroad fix satisfied with my own projects I want to work with go-fast things for a bit.

The B5 S4 is my secret love lol. I don't own one yet mainly because I cannot find one that is clean enough for my liking that hasn't been ridden hard and put away wet. A good friend of mine has one that we are currently swapping for a franken turbo setup (which I don't recommend), and it will be NASTY!

Right now my T4R is my dd, but I have a pretty lucrative internship this and should be able to afford a new dd (probably, dare i say a na miata lol). For now though I can deal with 20 mpg since it mainly sits in my garage here at school. I am interested to see what you come up with for the shock relocation, and how you plan on fitting the 35's. I am sure you have followed snivilous's LT build and with your experience from SAE and at Honda will come up with something awesome.

Any way sorry to swoon, but welcome back and I hope this time you decide to stay! Yota for life lol

I was in school for 6 years thanks to two years of a different useless degree. So don't feel bad about that. Wish I could have stayed longer. Both the S4 and the miata are fine choices, but I would rather DD an S4 and project a miata. My buddy here has one, its so flipping fun.

I'd like to see more on your buddy's S4 if you have a link.

Good to hear I was not the only one making the right choice a little late haha. I am leaning towards the miata for the dd just because I know them (intimately, we wire tucked my roommates NA in our garage in a week lol), and they are a fricken blast to drive. The S4 is a solid choice too, but now is a bit out of my price range and if it breaks during the school year I would be screwed.

As for the link I am working on it, I am not sure he has updated it lately though, but wouldn't hurt to check.

Welcome back bud! I can know the feeling I sold my 98 5spd T4R to buy a couple Audi's (all 01's A4 and 2 A6's) but they couldn't fill the void! I'm back in a 00 5spd T4R I found with decent milage. I didn't have half the time or a 10th of the money you had in yours but I had to get another one. I hope one day soon I can have something like you had before.
