For my first offical post on T4R.. I figured it would be to post up about my new (to me) 4Runner!

I am no stranger to the fourms as I came over from TacomaWorld when I sold my 2008 Toyota Tacoma, It totally sucked to sell it as I owned it since I was 16.. But! I finally went out and got my 2013 Toyota 4Runner: Limited ( 4x4 of course )

As she sits, Shes mostly stock! Coming from a fully caged and long traveled Tacoma.. I sat back and enjoyed the 4Runner for a little bit.. Its extremely comfortable and rides great. The time has now come to start making her pop like my Tacoma did.. This thread will be updated as I get new stuff in! Thanks for coming..

My old Tacoma (For Good Measure)

As many know, The limited's come with a TON of chrome. My weekend project is to take everything chrome off and either get it wrapped gloss black by a friend of mine. I may also just take everything chrome and plasti-derp it for the time being.

I just purchased (5) Falken WildPeak MT's to be installed sometime this weekend to replace the shit highway tires I have on now.

The next thing to come in the mail will be a set of F&R Bilstein 5100's ( ) & MCM Fab upper control arms. I know the 5100's arent really much of an upgrade to need UCA's but I just want to get it out of the way.

I also want find a good step by step on how to BHLM my lights. I'm trying to be cautious about putting my headlights in an oven lol.

What I want from this rig is a bit different than my Tacoma.. I want a clean DD, and a vehicle to take out backcountry camping and in the snow for snowboarding.

Stoked to finally start wrenching!

I have the Falken MT01's in 285/70/17....absolutely love them!

Yeah dude, I threw these on yesterday and I'm really liking them. Gonna go to a few trails today and see how they hook up off the road.

I bet the 285's are monstrous! Will definitely be looking into a bigger set once I get my suspension going. These tires are super beefy.

Finished up with the plasti-dip. Install was easy, but getting all the painters tape off was a major PITA.

Went on a few local trails to break the new tires in. Love em!
Can't wait to get the suspension dialed.

Thanks guys! I'm really really happy so far. 5100's and springs go on next week.
Recently took the 4Runner out to Zion to do a little camping.

I see you're in Nevada. Welcome to the t4R club.

After you put on the M/Ts you shoulda left everything else alone.

These things will go everywhere with just a tire upgrade. EVEN IN THE STOCK SIZE!

Next thing I want to tackle is the headlights and the taillights. There are some black trail edition's for sale on eBay but I don't know how trustworthy eBay headlights are. I also don't know if I have the balls to put mine in the oven lol.

The tires actually rub at full bump. I want to level it out and allow the tires to clear. I'll need to probably bust out the mig and do a cab mount chop. And then it's time to see what she can do!
