I don't have any issues with the Toytec Boss I have in the rear currently. Other then they limit full droop by 2". I solved that by giving King a metric shit ton of money for custom rears. lol

Such a great day Saturday! Man, till I just saw your pics- I didn't even know there was big rock like that there!
It should definitely be called "Jeepfest" though. There were- what- 200 Jeeps and 3 Toyotas?!
This was easy to drool over though
Had a great time wheelin [MENTION=135317]rkntoy[/MENTION]'s rig, and I was blown away at how nice that 3RZ is! Awesome engine.
OEM LC Shocks- #48531-69417
LC Shock Washers- #90948-02144
You'll have to drill out the upper stud holes for those centering washers if you run them.

And some more things to work on. Good thing the control arms from [MENTION=118730]AssBurns[/MENTION] are in the shop.
While installing the arms from [MENTION=118730]AssBurns[/MENTION] I am going to build some skids to prevent my lower mounts from looking like the picture. Did a search and all I seem to be able to find is pics of skids for the mount on the frame. I have some ideas but pics of what others have done would be nice.

I don’t think having skid plates will be necessary. A skid plate will just be something hanging further down and another thing to get caught up on. Those joints are pretty huge and super beefy, so smacking those on a rock won’t hurt anything. Trust me I’ve done it a bunch of times and it just leaves scratches. Also with some weld washers welded onto the brackets, it should stiffen up the mounting tabs quite a bit.
You can see how much lower the joints hang down compared to the brackets. If you plan to bang on them quite a bit, definitely weld in some weld washers to keep the bolt holes from wallowing out. The joint can definitely take the abuse.

Sweet! Thanks for a pic of what my arms will look like - and I agree. Get those weld washers on and good to go.
I think I will make something for my shocks since I feel the need to fab something.

Yes! Those have been needed for a long time. I'm honestly surprised my lower bolt hasn't sheared off yet.
Once the prototype stage is done let me know. I'd like to request a pair if it's not to much trouble.

What I'd really like to see is a completely boxed front. Leave a hole in the front plate just big enough to get the bolt and a deep well socket through. The bottom could be angled up just slightly to help slide over obstacles. I'm also thinking [MENTION=28464]eimkeith[/MENTION] would be a good person to have take a look at this. He's already got the connections to have them produced if we can come up with a good solution.

I think a better idea is to just outboard your shocks and weld on a stronger, lower profile mount that keeps things out of harms way.
As you can see, they’ve taken some hits, but no damage. There is also a couple other benefits to outboarding while you’re there. [emoji6]
