What the hell did you do?!
Lookin good! Not sure if you adjusted them from where I had them but I think I had them set for around 1/2” or so shorter than stock links for that very reason. Also shortening the lowers helps with pinion angle as well. Time to go beat those things up!
What the hell did you do?!
So what’s the plan to get that out?
Now I get to fix and then mad dash packing will ensue.
Guess I know who's carrying my ice cream. lol
I just got 1 more shock to go and it's test time.
Curiosity...is that cv oe or aftermarket?
Also, good fix!
EDIT: Dang it Mr. JZiggy!
A company used to make “hub fuses” for 1st gen Aisin hubs. The inner ring which the dial face moves up and down to connect the hub body to the inner splines was modified with some weak points. This ensured it would fail first. But then your hubs would be full of metal chunks so I’m not sure it was that much of a benefit...
Sounds like you need some Lotus axles.
MANUAL HUB - 3rd Gen 4Runner/1st Gen Tacoma - Single Chromoly Caged Axle - Lotus Development
Or, really, a solid axle.
No Way! These under powered 3RZ's busting CV's. Say it isn't so! :becky:
Yup - dual cases backing up steep slope with steering cranked. I knew better...:ybrick:
Yeah, I'm sure the 37's had nothing to do with it.:behindsofa:
