paintin'

Considering painting (black/bedliner) my wheels (they are very chipped and pretty thrashed) my hitch (some rust/fading) my sliders (waiting for welder to have some time) adding extension and repainting rack, and my rear spoiler ...but also seriously considering bedlining my front and rear chrome bumpers. Any input?

Nice 4Runner.

I realize that such things as "Ride Quality" is subjective. But do you have an opinion on how those BFG AT KO2 tires you have ride?

I'm considering the same tires, but I'm hesitant to go with an E load range tire. I've always ran a 6 ply rated load range C tire. But these BFG's in the LT265/75R16 size, aren't available in that load range.

BFG's

02SE Love them. Both on and off road. Highway noise is at a minimum. You can barely hear the siping when driving slow. As for the load E...I barely notice a difference at all. If you thought they would "feel heavier", don't. I've brought them down to 15 psi for some dunes and they did fantastic. In town is great, I dont think they ride too stiff or soft. Very pleased.

Axle seals and brake shoes

Diff breather clogged, causing seals to leak, causing news shoes and lots of clean up!

lifts on. OME 881/890 on bfg 265/75/16 top is stock height same tires.

Following....Looks good so far. I just got my family 2000 4runner limited. Catching up on all the maintenance and going from there. I'm interested in how you like the OME 881/890 kit?

Next up

cant wait to see what else will be added. nice build so far:thumb:

4Innovations sliders that have been sitting on the shop floor for far too long are whats next!

Then maybe some rattle can. My wheels look thrashed. I'm debating black and gunmetal...

To be perfectly honest, I love them. Not "kit", just the coils, made such a different truck. I did get around 3" and a small spacer that comes with them was put in front for less rake...and after 6 months, I haven't seen any droop/settling. For around $165 per pair and the ride quality I have whether weighted or not, they're fantastic.

rack

Looking at ways to lower my cheap rack. I want to move my hi lift to the roof, and make mounts for my Maxsa tracks. I could just drill into the luggage racks and be done, but I do like carrying my gas up there. I'm also looking at $50 extensions for the current rack that add 2 feet. But I wish it was lower profile. I wonder how tough it would be to cut and re-weld?

Slider install day

Serious serious welding skills by Lornejohn Thanks man!
