Rock Sliders - Suggestions?

Not TrailGear. I've seen two sets (mine and another), and the finish on both was not spectacular at all. They're supposed to be pre-notched, but the notching in both cases looked like it'd been done by an untrained monkey. I didn't like the finish on my "ready to install" axle armor from TG either.
I'd look to AddictedOffroad or 4xInnovations for inexpensive but functional sliders.

How much do you know about sliders? Are you willing to weld them on to your frame or do you want to bolt them on? Do you want to only worry about welds to the frame or do you want to do the legs yourself? Do you have a body lift or ever plan on getting one? These are all questions to consider before buying. A few searches will help you think through this decision. It may not seem like a big one but once they are welded on then you have a pretty permanent situation.
That being said, I've dealt with a number of companies whose names pop up on this forum and would recommend ordering from Richard Stubbs of Stubbs Welding. His only business is making sliders and he does enough of it to support his family. His prices are more expensive than the rock bottom ones out there but they are more than fair when you get the product in your hands. He's a fantastic vendor and I wish I could buy more stuff from him but he only wants to build sliders. Full disclosure: I have a pair of HD-SKO sliders from him that I've painted but not welded on yet due to life blowing up on me. You can't go wrong if you order from him and will be satisfied.

I got mine from Addicted Offroad.
Which are Trail Gear sliders that are 67" long which fit perfect.
They come in just grease covered with zero paint of any kind as any weld on sliders will be.
I used 2 cans of primer and 2 cans of black paint to paint them myself after I got them welded on, then added some good traction tape on top.
At the time they cost $176.75 total cost shipped to the door.
The Trail Gear sliders are "DOM tubing"

I'm very satisfied with my Stubbs HD-SKO sliders. Richard Stubbs was a pleasure to work with and helped with several little pre-purchase and post-purchase decisions.
These sliders require being welded on and you need to be prepared to get them painted prior to the welding. I suggest taking a little time researching these issues in advance.

Are you sure? I know Scotty resells a lot of TG product, but I though he made bumpers and sliders himself.

I know he sells a couple different styles of sliders. The ones pictured above and a set with a subtle kickout at the end. I'm pretty sure he makes the latter ones.

As far as commonly known, you can't go wrong with stubbs. They're just expensive. Now if you want the new kid on the block sliders hit up Jerry with B.A.M.F. Costly, but I paid as the build progressed which made it fund-able for me. I had them PC'd as well for a total around $450.

Has anyone used the addicted offroad HD sliders or that style kickout? I'm sure scotty wouldn't make it if it doesn't work but I'm a little skeptical on how it works if you're backing up to get a second run. Seems it would hang up easier??

Yep it is what he said in his email to me.
Also it is what it said on the box when they came in.
He makes a couple of his own also of course.

I have them and they are great. they protect the door and only kick out about 2/3's of the tire so that the tire can climb the rock. As for backing up it would have to be a tall skinny rock to wedge between the tire and the slider.

I went with trail gear because they are the cheapest on the market by far, and 1035 DOM is 1035 DOM, they should be strong enough. If you don't mind doing a little bit of cutting/grinding/welding, I think they are the best bang for the buck out there other than some plain old 2x2 box tube.
