Rock to Windshield

Friday morning around 6 on my way to work I took a large rock to the windshield. The rock won, boy that will wake you up real quick.

Tough break, as they say.
I hate it when you're driving down a 2 lane highway covered in gravel and trucks are throwing rocks at you at 65 mph.

Yeah the rake on these windshields just attracts rocks. USAA hates me.

We have a Honda Element in the family. I've never seen a vehicle more prone to windshield damage. These are pretty gnarly though. 0.o

Had my Trail about 16 months, and I'm on my third large stone chip as of last Friday. I was beginning to wonder if it was just my luck, but apparently not based on the pics here. Although the same thing happened within an hour after picking my wife up in her new-to-her Z4 weekend toy when following at a significant distance behind any other vehicles! Welcome to Houston roads! Safelite does a nice job repairing them.
