Rocker Lining options?

I'm looking to use some sort of truck bed liner on my rocker panels and lower section of the doors. I've got a small bubble of rust forming right near the fender flare (drives side rear door)that I'd like to get totally covered and keep it from getting worse. In the winter months, I get a nice mixture of snow/salt that get's stuck to that area. I pulled apart of the door and sprayed the inside with rusolium liner as it looked like it was getting wet inside due to the fender flare gap.

That being said, I called Line-x and they said it's about $750 to spray the rockers and lower door section in black (not including door jams) and pushing $1k to color match the Line-X. To me, that seems a bit steep.

My question is, does anyone know of any alternate to Line-x that can be color matched? My 4Runner is Thundercloud (KF9).

I have looked a Monstaliner and Raptor as well, but it looks like they don't color match automotive paints unless you're looking to spray.

Anyone know of a way to roll it on? Bad idea?

Personally I'd just remove the accessible rust, properly prime it, spray with regular colour matched paint and then spray fluid film inside where you can't access. And just check for dings periodically and repair as needed.

Yeah, I had already seen that thread. My problem isn't actually rocker panel rust. I don't have a sun roof, and from what I've read, I shouldn't have that same drain issue?

I'm not really opposed to your idea, I'm just not sure how well I'd be able to actually color match that area. It's not huge (smaller than a quarter) but if I sand it down, paint it, etc, I'm guessing it would be bigger? I'm not at all a paint/body expert.

Rockers still def get moisture inside without a sunroof, still need to coat inside with RP thru drain holes if you don't want rocker rot.
