Rocker switch always illuminated?

So this might be a newbie question maybe not, couldn't find much on it. I installed an Led bar today and the rocker switch is always illuminated. I tired hooking it up to my remote turn on radio wire, doesn't work. How can I hook this up with the dash lights?

Well it ought to be easy, but you need to provide some information. Like the switch configuration, and what you did to wire it.

Here's the switch configuration. And I wired it like you're suppose to wire it....I read reviews on amazon and they all said they left theirs on and the light blew out after a couple days. I certainly don't want that. Like I said I tried hooking up my radio turn on wire to number 6 but it didn't work.

That would drive me insane. i bet one of those is the power for the backlight. do some testing and dont even power the backlight.

Perhaps maybe swap the in and out wires on the switch?? I'm gonna go try it
