yep - although I'm typically not a very active forum person. Seldom went to the blueroom as it was simply overwhelming - skimmed the FB group mainly for pictures - never got into the plastidip ;-)
so - now the real question - what brought you to the 4runner?
for myself, one of the main issues was the windshield and lack of adequate defroster. Impossible to keep my wipers from icing last winter. Had the FJC came with a winter package of sorts -heated mirrors, seats, wiper pad- I probably wouldn't have traded but that was a deal breaker for me.
I also wished for a longer range which is also addressed with the 4runner both with the aerodynamics as well as a larger tank.
I wished for better airflow for my dogs - the 4runners rear windows and tailgate glass rolling down are a huge plus.
I really wanted the Trail Premium but stumbled in a TRDP that we made a deal on. Got nearly every penny back for my FJ and it was too good a deal to pass up.
I don't feel I've given up much offroad other than a bit of 'angles', but I'm not THAT hardcore for it to really matter. This runner is going to make a much friendly crosscountry adventure truck for us although I do miss the styling of the FJ :-(

Between SWMBO and myself we've had '7, '11 and '12 GSJ15s.

Previously owned 2 FJ's. Had a 08TT that was lightly modified w/ suspension and 285's. Sold it then regretted it. Picked up a 07 about a year later and built the heck out of it... 315's, fox c/o's, full armor, roof rack, bumpers, OD linex... the works! I sold it for a sports car... Regretted it. See a pattern here?
After selling the sports car, I ended up test driving a 4Runner TE and liked the similarities to the FJ and the added upgrades in technology, interior room, and range, which really helped me make the decision to the T4R.
However, if I could do it again... I don't know. The FJ was super fun and capable and I could see myself in one again some day. I just hope the aftermarket really takes ahold of the 4Runner now that the FJ is gone. It would be nice if one of these days ExpeditionOne will support our rigs. We need some competition in the marketplace.

I would love to combine the FJ with the 4Runner. I prefer the FJ looks and the 4Runner 4-doors and rear windows.
They both wheeled great and I actually prefer the 4Runner. I just decided not to abuse the 4Runner as much.
I miss the FJ and the cult following the most. I met great people there and luckily my friends are starting to switch too. And when enough switch we will create an after market demand.

LOVED my FJ. Thought I would never sell it. Had it finally setup the way I wanted with nearly every mod known to man.
But reality sets in. 1 car seat was ok. Adding a Labradoodle, and soon another child, made things look very confined in the FJ. Had a 3rd Gen 4runner previous to the FJ, and the one thing I missed the most was the cargo space and back seat space.
With my son in his car seat, he was right to the rear seat of the FJ. In the 4runner, 8-10 inches minimum. PLUS that huge cargo space behind the seats for the dog! Now, add another car seat, and the dog in the back.. Where do you put things?
I feel at home in the 4runner, as most of the mods I did on the FJ will be able to be done in the 4runner. Since I did all the work myself on there FJ, pulling things apart in the 4runner are very familiar, if not identical.
You cannot beat the body style and stout look of the FJ, I do miss that, along with the looks, as I barreled down the road, intimidating all that stood in my way. I do hope to get that feeling back as more mods are done to the 4runner, but for now, I am very happy with the switch. At least I am still in the family.
I will say, it makes me very sad to see my FJ driving around town, but at the same time proud.
I was able to negotiate a very good profit from my FJ, which really helped to obtain the T4R. I had 78,000 on the odometer when I sold it, and even though I added a lot of mods, I sold it for only $4000 LESS than what I paid for it new, 3+ years ago. 2 cross-country trips, lots of memories, and a ton of gas. That brings up another good point. Not stopping at the gas station every 200 miles is a blessing already, as even with the same suspension and nearly as heavy of tires, I pull 320 miles off a tank of gas. 360-390 miles if I didn't have the E-Loads on. That makes longer road trips much more enjoyable!

I don't miss mine. I spent about 3k in suspension mods and tires and trail armor.
The T/O bearing kept crapping out on me and Toyota kept saying the lift caused it to go bad, but eventually changed it for free at 50k after 4-5 dealer trips. Less than 5k miles later the chirping and bad shifting started again.
There's some fix on the FJ boards, and Toyota has claimed to fix the issue but I sold mine, because I was sick of the terrible transmission.
I also couldn't see out of it.

Owned an 08, loved that thing and still regret selling it to this day (sold it in 2010). It had 5100's, 285's, ran like a top... But the suicide doors and lack of space is what prompted me to trade it for a crew cab truck - silverado, it was garbage!
Went through a few vehicles, bought my wife a lightly used 2012 GMC Yukon ... and guess what, JUNK! (see a trend here). After the 6th trip to dealer to fix idiotic issues with it, and it sounding like we had a random window cracked above 50mph I finally said F-it. Pretty much hostile takeover of the Yukon, drove to Toyota dealer and traded that POS in for a 2013 SR5 w/Leather.
Fast forward to 4 days ago, wife is expecting, I'm wanting the SR5 to commute in, and literally the only vehicle she wants........ 2015 Tahoe
I leased this one, never have leased anything before, but seems to make sense tax wise, and I don't have to worry about maintanence or repairs, we'll see. I will say the new Tahoe/Yukon is totally new vehicle, it's tighter, uber quiet, and we're getting 24mpg in it... we'll see what happens. I have wheels/tires on order, and ordering a lift for the 4runner tomorrow

Traded my '07 FJ for a '15 Runner, Trail Edition. Really miss my FJ, but agree with others regarding advantages of the Runner.
I had the FJ for almost 8 years, and kept it stock. Now I have the 4Runner, and I have already started modding it, with more planned! What's with that?!!
