Roof Rack Removal

How difficult is it to remove the roof rack on an 06 Sport?

Would like to see what it looks like without the rack especially since I on't use it.

Pretty easy to remove.Pop off covers on ends with flat blade screw driver gently.Then theres 2 torx head screws on each corner.remove all 4 corners and have someone help you remove rack.You will also need brackets and covers to put in place of rack.You will need 8ea.part#90119-08C47 bolts with washers 4ea. part# 63185-42020 brackets and 4ea. part#75596-02020 covers.Just bolt brackets inplace of roof rack and pop covers on.Picture is of a rav 4 roof with the brackets installed.cover just needs to be poped on.$runner is the same except the cover looks a little diferent.My runner is a 08 but 06 should be the same.

Picture of my runner with out rack.I removed mine because I dont use mine either but mainly because its much easier to clean roof .As you can see I also swapped my tubular running boards for sr5 type.Also painted it body color and installed color matched grill.
