Anyone know the best area to drill for routing wiring up to the roof? I'm going to use a Liquid-Tight Multi-Cord Grip (Mcmaster link). So I would need to make sure theres enough roof underneath for it. Thanks.

I contemplated such a gland too for a ham radio coax cable to the roof rack mounted antenna. I decided it best to drill a hole in the rear hatch area and use a rivnut for an insulated cable clamp.
And into the interior through the taillight wiring hole...

You'd never catch me drilling into my roof no matter how OK I am with permanent modifications. There's just no reason for it. You can fit 2-6 16ga wires on either side underneath the door seals on the A pillars and another 2-6 16ga through the rear hatch gap as posted above. Even if I couldn't fit all the wires I wanted into the space allocated (which happened on my Tacoma, running a large harness of 8 wires up to the rack.) the better way to go is to wrap all the wires nicely in a tech flex loom, and use stick-on zip tie anchors and flush ties to run the wires alongside the windshield. It may not be the most "clean" thing in the world, but on a heavily modified truck it's hardly a worry in my book.
