Well I have finally gotten around to starting a build and a thread to go along with it. I am in college so I am doing these as I have the money and time. The major mods I am going to do this summer when I do have the time. For now on my breaks I am doing the small stuff. The truck already has the rear e-locker from toyota and 4.30 gearing.

First thing I did was put in a CB. Its a Uniden Pro520XL with some generic 18" magnetic antenna. It works for about 5 miles which is good enough for me. Took about 2 hours to set up because I suck at taking the panels off inside the truck.

For the money those 500 xl are the best get out and reach cb's with the proper tune u could reach a little further. Pick up a wilson 1000 magnetic mount and your set.

Flood Lights!

Just installed a pair of Cree 60 degree led flood lights. Supposedly with "1200 lumens"
Not pictured are the 1.5" spacers also installed today

Looks to me like it tripped and fell on an angle grinder.

I had to cut the nut and studs off because the stud broke away from the tophat and was spinning with the nut

Jacked up in the sense that the mechanic who put it on used a nut with the wrong threads and just torqued it down as much as possible and broke the stud lol. **** that guy
