My rola was a $80 craigslist special, lol. Thanks for the links, i didn't know they sold the backing plates. I thought something had to be fabbed to mount it. Good looking rig! Thanks again!

Actually, the window goes down just fine and dandy. It's functionality is not affected at all by this setup. However, I do recommend getting new rear hatch struts. Otherwise, the 4Runner may eat you. You may need something to prop the hatch up while its open.

Wow I can't believe the window works that is a great design. May I steal this design and do you have a write up on how you did this or quick tips?

Had mine on their sides for over 2 years, never a leak.
Only advice is, learn how to open them BEFORE filling them, twist lock seems to be a child lock for newbies.

You build a rack out of .120" 1.50" tubing that will support tire, fuel, lights and at least 2 shooters.

Replace the black or any other color spout with the yellow on the fuel can.
