your going to get alot of different ideas on this one, personally, i have always used the brembo's with the cross drill, you can't turn the slotted as easily if needed. some people will tell you it's a waste and over kill and that the cross drill doesn't actually do anything, maybe it does maybe it doesn't...i think it looks cool, haven't noticed any ill effects and haven't ever had an issue since i started going this route.

this is all speculation on my part but it seems people tend to have alot of problems with the brakes on our trucks and i did chase my tail quite a bit at the beginning as well, but now i have a routine of buying brembo rotors ,cross drilled, and getting them turned on the hub, since I've gone about this I've never had an issue with my brakes, no warping , no vibes, and the life span it right on target. so in the end i keep doing this as it was much cheaper in the end to just buy what i call "the good" parts and not have to figure out what the issue is if a problem arises....


that said, if your buying rotors, i'd do pads at the same time and if your doing, rotors and pads, i'd might as well just pick up a set of tundra calipers and upgrade the whole brake system and call it good, the big brake upgrade made the single most noticeable improvement in actual day to day driving out of any of the modifications I've done to this date, while i'm talking about it, shout out to BFAD for his write up, you should check it out.

I highly recommend, as stated, that you do the Tundra upgrade. Massive improvement in braking, and no more warping issues.
