rough country suspension help

hey guys

I'm from Australia and im looking into buying a rough country 4-5" lift kit for my 1990 4runner and shipping it over because its under half the price than i can buy here.

Ive contacted them and my main inquiry is if its suited to right hand drive cars?
they were not sure and i was hoping that someone who had installed one or has the knowledge about them could tell me if it will still work or if it would have to be majorly modified.

here is what the kit includes according to rough countrys website

Front: Knuckle adapters, differential drop brackets, front crossmember drop bracket, bumpstop extension brackets, and sway-bar drop brackets.

Rear: Lifted coil springs, upper control arms, track bar bracket, sway-bar links, bumpstop extensions, extended stainless steel brake line, and brake line proportioning valve bracket.

I see nothing in that which could effect left or right hand steer.
all vehicles are almost the same from left to right hand steer. the only difference i can think of is what side the steering box is on and what side the pitman and idler arm are on. since the rough country has no mention of having to change these items i would assume its all good.
the differential, front cross memeber and knuckle are all that is the same from left to right hand drive.

the only issue i can for see is that the kit may come with standard bolts and nuts.

this is pure speculation but if you compare a aussie FSM to a US FSM youll know for sure.

it wouldnt make sense for toyota to make 2 entirely different frames and parts for a right hand and left hand steer vehicle they would look for the cheapest way to get both and that would be a mirror style dash i bet the aussie part number for a steering gearbox is the same as a US one.

yea Ive looked at all that and that's what rough country said that it should but they cant be 100% certain it will fit.

reading all of it and general knowledge of how its going together i couldn't see any problems.

im only 19 and this is my first real 4x4 and seeing as its not a kit i cant actually see and touch until i purchase is im abit hesitant.

Buy domestic, get OME. People here want what's made where you are. American made stuff is not as good as others (prob worst, focused on profit> performance).... obviously, don't we all drive Toyota? Don't do it.

japan or china ebay may have kits made by them that are for right hand drive and the shipping would be less then US.
check it out there are several translation ebays for the china market.
