RPM gauge not working

Hi guys, just bought a 08 4runner limited v8 awd used with 48K on it. Truck is in pristine condition except that the RPM gauge doesnt work. Truck drives and handles great and everything else works. Should I be worried about the rpm gauge and how do I go about repairing it?

the speedo and all the other gauges work fine. Just the RPM gauge. it's weird. The tranny and everything runs fine. shifting and accelleration is spot on. I can't figure it out.

it's intact. It could be broken though. I've just never seen anything like this before in a toyota. It's really random.

If you just bought it, I'd take back to the dealer and have them fix it. Most stealerships have a 30 day warranty against stuff like this. Totally weird though, never seen that before on any car.
