I have 285 KO2s with the Toytec 3inch lift Total Chaos UCA and spidertrax 1.25.
My passenger front wheel is hitting this weld in the (what looks like shield) for the body mounts, driver seems okay but still need to check. Could I grind this spot out?

just search on here for body mount chop. You need to fully cut it off and weld in a support piece. Enjoy the search and chop! Welcome to bigger tires!

You'll need to do the common "body mount chop" that pretty much everybody with larger tires needs to do. If grinding works, it might be easier, but most people use a cut-off wheel or maybe a sawzall to slice a chunk off. Look up pictures online of a 4runner or FJ body mount chop to see what other people have done.

Thanks for the many answers! ive been running these tires for almost a year now but with a daystar leveling kit front and back... and only on the right? seems odd
