Rubbing with FJC suspension and 265/70/17 tires?

Okay guys I am working on getting my FJC suspension installed and my 265/70/17 tires installed. With that setup am I going to have rubbing issues and would I need to do like J.A.'s article and trim my fender lining?

Probably not but maybe... I know that's not the answer you wanted but it's the truth

Awesome dude thanks!!! I hope I don't have much rubbing because the thought of cutting something doesn't sit too well with me. To be honest I don't have the confidence in cutting something on my vehicle. If I do have some rubbing I will try your method and hope it takes care of it!

im sure you will be fine. even if i didnt lift mine it wouldnt have rubbed with that size of tire.

I had a little bit of rubbing after my FJ suspension and 265/70-17's. It was only at a specific point in the turning radius, not full extension. I followed JA's method of pushing the fenders forward and drilling new holes in them. Didn't take 5 minutes per side and I got about an extra inch of clearance. You still use the existing holes in the body painted bumper, only drill new ones in the black fender plastic. No permanent visible damage as of yet. I did not have to trim the actual bumper corners, but I anticipate having to do this if I add Spidertrax later on.
