ruff ride

hey so on my t4r, I have totally stock/original suspension. when driving on even pavement, the ride is just fine; but when i get on dirt roads,gravel roads, or even uneven pavement, the ride is very ruff. so im guessing that the suspension is going bad? whats the best thing to do from here? i also want to get a lift, should i just put on a lift when redoing the suspension? thanks for any help!

ok cool thanks, so since im 85% on pavement and the rest off road (camping,mud,gravel,trails) whats the best set up? im thinking i want either a 2.5'' or 3'' lift. oh and ill be keeping the 265s on there for a little while, prob till Christmas.thanks!

Put some Bilstein hd's on it I got them on mine and love them. The ride is firm and not floaty like feeling, it's great off road too.

I doubt it is rough off road, go take something with leafs all around off road and then say that your stock suspension is "rough".

Anyway, If you go for an OME setup which is gonna be the best bang for your buck setup you will end up with a stiff setup so i am not sure that lifting it will make your ride comfort better, but I would look into the Tundra front lift and LC coils in the rear for a "soft" ride lift.

This stuff has been covered a million times. Asking and asking and asking the same questions over and over and over doesn't help the other people that actually do use the search function. All it does is clutter up the forum, making it almost impossible for people to find the actual information they're looking for without having to read through a bunch of BS.
