Thanks bro! I bought a set of BF Goodrich All-Terrains. They ran around $250 a tire, for a set of 5, it came out to $1275 installed.

Right?! I had to see what the rant and raving was about. The art piece is pretty nifty, not to mention Marfa is a pretty neat little town. Kinda reminds me of Miniature Austin.

I really appreciate it! its been a great ride so far and i'm enjoying every minute of it. I'm not sure its normal for a person to have so much love for and inanimate object.

They came with the SPC UCAs. After 11k they're holding up pretty well.

haha touche! SD is so nice! i wish we had a chance to spend more time there. Not to take away from where you are now, when I did a road trip from San Antonio to Seattle, I had a chance to really see the PNW, its hard to say which one I like better.

Before myself and the misses head out to the Panhandle of Florida next week, it looks like the runner will be going under the knife again. Since I have that dreaded "clunk" and the cost just for the inner tie rods justified me just going all out and replacing the whole thing.

The install wasn't to bad. It took a little bit to figure out how to get the middle 19mm Nut off, but my trusty Craftsman Breaker Bar came to the rescue. I used plumbers teflon tape to have a guide for the outer tie rods.
Strapped up the Steering wheel to keep in in place.
All finished. I only used the "D" Ring from the Total Chaos Bushing set. If anyone would like to buy my old rack to rebuild it, feel free to PM me. I'll throw the bushings in for no cost.

The misses and I decided to head over to Destin, Florida & New Orleans for our 9 year anniversary. Needless to say we had an awesome trip. I've been wanting to make a collage of all the State Line crossings, so here are a few. I had to get Alabama on the way back to Texas, Since the Eastbound side of I-10 doesn't have a welcome sign...

Just found your thread, looking good! Always happy to see another build from San Antonio! I live over by the Quarry Market. Excited to see what you have planned next. Big Bend pics were awesome...wifey and I spent our anniversary there a few years back, great hiking and good times.

Thank you! Not to many modded 3rd Gens here in town. I'm working on a few things right now. I'm thinking about spaces, but we'll see. I have another project I'm working on right now. Big Bend was awesome! I l'll be going back out hopefully within the next calendar year. I think we're planning on going out the Guadalupe Mountains National Park sometime this Fall.
Thank You! Night and Day difference. The steering is a bit more responsive and precise. I had already replaced all of the Ball Joints and front end suspension so it was pretty much the only thing left to do. I did it by myself and took about 3-4hrs. Luckily, the truck is rust free or it would have taken a lot longer.

Its been awhile since I've updated. Not much going on really. I was able to find a Sports Edition Skid Plate up in Fort Worth and decided to buy it and pick it up since I was on my way to Little Rock. The guy I bought it from was cool dude that had 2 3rd Gens. To his misfortune, he wrecked one of them and was parting it out. The fiance and I decided to roll up to Little Rock to visit my Great Grandmother who just turned 99. Since we were there, we decided to take advantage of it and went to Hot Springs National Park. I also got a chance to visit some a lot of places that i had not been to since I lived in the area. As tradition goes, I got a chance to snap a picture of the Runner at the State Line. I also have random pictures throughout my visit and in the National Park. Enjoy.
Took a drive off road to visit my families property. I've always loved this old bridge since i was a child.
