Rumor of no 4Runner for 2018.

Even with 33's, my 4th gen can still get 20 mpg on the highway.

Something in here stinks. And I've already checked my shoes.

The idea was to trade my G35 in for the 4runner. The dealership came in well below trade in value based in the interwebs research. I gave the dealership my best FO face, handed the keys to my father-in-law and he drove it home. So I still have my G35. It's got the 6 speed manual, too (pearl ivory). I now have family members lining up for it. As it turns out, they now have to fight through my wife who wants to keep it!

I "traded" it in for my 4Runner. 2005 6MT with 106,000 miles and got $10,000 for it... yeah, I know, I should have kept it!

Yeah, something is rotten in Denmark here.

The frickin' Sequoia has been lumbering along, essentially unchanged, since (2006?) and selling at a quarter of the 4Rs rate. All this despite Toyota publicly saying they were discontinuing the thing in 2012.

Nothing funny here. Going 75 mph (as indicated on my GPS) both to and from Denver from here, hand calculated, factoring in a 6% difference for tire size difference came out to 20.122322 mpg. Yeah, I was surprised too. I didn't think I could still get 20 with these 255's like I could with the 265's. I usually get a little more going to work and back though, 28 miles of 55 mph helps out. Obviously, city mpg is lower.

Like I said, we've always been able to achieve really good mpg with this 4th gen and it's always been a strong running vehicle.

Hardly the word of god, but someone who is more familiar with product than any of us here, or the dealership.
