So, after a long day yesterday of working on the runner i figure now is a good time to sit on my ass a write up what i have done to it since new. Sorry about the poor quality pics, just used the iphone.
New (used) on the lot. Talked them down to $12000 out the door
Got it home and took off the running boards (too soccer momish). A few months later i decided to throw the newer headlights on since the stock ones were a little fogged over. It just makes cars look so much nicer when they have some crystal clear headlights instead of yellowish fogged over ones. The projectors look a lot better too IMO. I still need to get the newer grill to take up those triangular gaps, but i am waiting to get my bumper so i don't need to trim the 06+ grille

Ordered all of this from Toytec and All Pro
Icon stage 1 with extended travel
LR UCA's
All Pro spindle gussets
Diff drop
All pro rear links, upper and lower
1" RB body lift
Spidertrax 1.25" front and rear
Extended rear brake lines
Toytec adjustable panhard (they sent me the one for the 3rd gen so i have to send it back)
My roommate is the head mechanic at a local shop, so luckily his boss let us use the shop this weekend. We started yesterday at 8am. I ordered my tires (285/70r17 goodyear wrangler duratrac) on Thursday from the tire store so that they could mount them on saturday while we were doing the lift.
Before pics:
I didn't take too much time taking pics so i will kinda talk you through it...
After getting it racked up:
-removed front skids.
-took off the wheels/tires and brought them down the street to the tire store
-removed front sway bar
-removed UCA's
-welded on spindle gussets
tacked on driver side
before clean up pasanger side
-chopped body mounts and boxed back in with 1/8" steel
-installed UCA's and icon coilovers and did rough camber adjustment
-took a break and picked up my mounted tires
-installed wheel spacers on front
-installed front sway bar relocation brackets and sway bar
-did front diff drop and installed skids
-test fit tires in front
Once we got to this point we we were in the final stretch so i forgot to take more pics. I did a little trimming on the front inner fenders, cut the part that hangs below the bumper completely off. We got the rear all done (except for the panhard bar since Toytec sent me the 3rd gen version which is much shorter), bled the brakes, did a rough alignment, and called it a night.
Did a little test flexing outside the shop to check for rubbing. No rubbing whatsoever, but it wasn't fully tucked, so i will have to find some better spots to test. (sorry about the dark pics)
Drove it around last night and this morning and everything feels great. It is stiffer than stock but i am hoping these springs settle a little and soften up. I will be getting a 4wheel alignment (roommates shop doesn't do alignments or else we would do it) once i get the correct panhard from toytec.
next to roommates 3rd gen on 35" tires and OME springs with 1" bl, they are almost the same height, mine still sits a little lower
And thats it so far. I am waiting on my bumper from Demello. I will also be ordering up some sliders, was thinking the CBI's with kickouts.
