It looks like water got in the rear running board light socket and the brass contacts have now dissolved and the bulb and socket needs to be replaced. The connector / light socket part number stamped on it says KOITO E9-1, but the dealer cannot find the replacement part. Does anybody know what the Toyota part number is for this, and it's associated bulb? Is there somewhere else where I can find this part? Have not had any luck on the Internet which is really surprising. Can post pictures if that helps. Thanks very much if you can help.

Hate to dig this one up from the grave... I'm having the same issue, did anybody find a solution?
I had the same problem and bought this from ebay. Worked just fine.

I'll zombie-thread it one more time...
Any hints on separating the wiring harness from the angle-plug?
I know that's not necessary to replace the bulb, but my bulb is good so I want to start checking connections.
I've tried dousing the gap between male and female end with WD40, and of course pushing down the little "release button" when pulling.

Stick a small flat head in the gap next to the angle piece and manually delatch it bro
Any luck finding a new piece though? I haven't had any luck

What exactly are you all looking for? I have 2 limited running boards w/ lights sitting in my attic. I tucked the wires and connector into frame rails but they're still attached.
