Running Boards

I want to add running boards to my stock '02 4runner because I've grown old and would like the step. I see some used ones for sale and they usually mention something like: 'for large flares'. How can I determine if this '02 has 'large' flares? Also they seem to have different end 'caps'. Is there a way to narrow down my search? If someone is removing running boards that will fit this stock, '02 4runner, I would be interested in buying them.
