FYI from TC's site:

"Total Chaos includes uniballs that feature a heat treated stainless steel ball & heat treated stainless steel race for maximum corrosion resistance and longevity. The uniball also features a woven fabric Teflon liner that helps prevent noise."

That's old news and has been mentioned before and here's some more info on them.....
Nice shot of MT's 4runner though http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-g...you-do-your-5th-gen-today-31.html#post1249591

About ~40K miles on my Camburg uni-balls. No rust (and I live in the mid-atlantic). I try to keep them pretty clean and coated with tri-flow teflon lube. I also don't yet sense any slop or meaningful wear, but I am going to confirm tomorrow when the truck is on a lift.

I've been running the same TC's since May 2008 - yes 5 years now. I've never rebuilt them or anything. I grease them maybe twice a year. and I've never had a squeak. I'm a big supporter of their product.
