Rusted out trailing arm bracket (axle)

Below is a post-attempted repair of the trailing arm bracket on the axle. This weld held but the bracket just ripped again two days later below the weld it was so rotten. Where can I get replacement brackets? It's just a daily driver doesn't need to be fancy

Wow.. that axle is so rusted the metal looks pitted in spots! Not good!

Just Fab up a new bracket and weld it on. That's about all you can do. And then spend some time with a wire wheel and a drill on the axle, then paint it!

Spray some WD40 on the rusted metal to prevent any more corrosion. Do this when the surface is dry.
